Anxiety

What is Anxiety?

In order to understand anxiety or panic attacks it's useful to remind ourselves of Mickel Therapy's approach to 'e-motions' in general - click here for more detail.

From a Mickel Therapy perspective anxiety is a sign that e-motions have been pushed down in our body. Imagine a pot in our stomach as the e-motions stack up over time, the last few e-motions that mean the pot overflows, triggers the anxiety, as the body's way of warning us that something needs to be done.

How can Mickel Therapy help?

Mickel Therapy uses a range of tools to examine all the e-motions in the pot, not just the ones that trigger the anxiety. By doing this, we can empty the pot & therefore the anxiety no longer needs to remain present.
